It gives me great pleasure as the principal of Dunbar High School in extending to all of our new and returning students, faculty and staff, and our greater school community a warm welcome to Dunbar High School. This is a school rich in tradition and history. I take pride in becoming a part of this legacy.

Serving in the education field for more than fifteen years, I am a firm believer in parental involvement. Parents and guardians, are great contributors to the schools greatness. The collaborative effort of parents, school district personnel and students is critical to our advancement and success. Developing our young people is a team effort. Our faculty and staff develop our students’ qualities of scholarship, character, and leadership. We welcome your involvement.

As your principal, I can assure you that our school will continue to maintain high expectations, reach for excellence and ensure that all students meet his or her potential. In addition, I will do my best to continue to provide our children with a safe learning environment.
